KnocK Log #1: Introductions

Posted on May 17, 2017 in Uncategorized

This is the first of (hopefully) many development log entries for a short horror game I plan on developing titled KnocK. I’m Matt, the sole developer currently on this project and will be your guide through your time here 🙂

Let’s get some of the basics out of the way in this first log…

KnocK is a short first person horror game with a pixel artstyle. I have some plans for the core gameplay, story, and other elements but I want to save some information for future logs (which I will hopefully do every few days). KnocK is being developed in Unity.

While I was working on my last project I knew what I was producing was high quality but the time it was taking to develop was far too large for one developer. Combined with a general “burnt out” feeling on the project I knew I wanted to do something smaller, simpler, and easier to develop through it’s entirety.

That’s pretty much all we need to do for introductions right now. Let me end this short update with a quick glance at the real simple logo for the game. Since KnocK was started two days ago, things are looking pretty basic right now. Ah the joys of watching a game being developed 🙂

Until next time…
